Despite the modern movie adaptations of the classic tale Oliver Twist especially Walt Disney's Oliver and Company,

Walt Disney Company will confirm the following characters for Oliver Brown the 2028 live-action film loosely based on the classic tale Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens:

Oliver Brown, to be portrayed by a child actor - an Afro-American 10-year old orphaned child whose mother died in the police shooting 10 years ago. he is the most inspiration of Oliver.

An unnamed character based on Mr Bumble

Doland Dodger, to be portrayed by Donald Glover - an Afro-American man who is the most inspiration of The Artful Dodger.

Doland Dodger's gang, to be portrayed by some Afro-American actors especially Kevin Hart.

Chauvin Sykes - a racist loanshark and corrupt agent who antagonizes and discriminate the black-skinned people for lending a considerable sum of money to Mr. Fagin and expects it paid back. He is loosely based on Bill Sikes and his name inspiration of Derek Chauvin who murdered George Floyd in 2020.

Leader of the Street Gang Rival, to be portrayed by Chiwetel Ejiofor, an Afro-American man who is the one of the street gang rival of Doland Dodger and his gang. Who began his plan to kidnap the damsel-in-distress of a character based on Mr. Brownlow before he together with Gideon Pesaresi, Christine Winston, George John, Porsha Heather and two of the members led by Doland Dodger came to rescue her and watch Oliver Brown and Doland Dodger confronting at Chauvin Sykes to be shot by one of the black family supporters rather than one of the racist police agents near the end of the film's climax.

New York Triad Leader, to be portrayed by Jason Scott Lee - a Chinese mafia leader who have his plan together with his fellow triad members to capture and interrogate Mr. Fagin before some of the groups led by the leaders (especially Doland Dodger, Gideon Pesaresi and Christine Winston) came to free him and watch Oliver Brown and Doland Dodger confronting at Chauvin Sykes to be shot by one of the black family supporters rather than one the racist police agents near the end of the film's climax.

Executive of Chauvin Sykes, to be portrayed by Jack Black - a man who's glad to present the money at Chauvin Sykes before both of them are in trouble and distracted by the protesters who seeks revenge against the racial discrimination and refund for Oliver Brown and the surviving black families peacefully near the end of the film's climax.

Mr. Fagin, to be portrayed by a Canadian-American actor. a lowly thief who lives on a house with his fellow Afro-American street gang. He desperately needs money to repay his debt with Chauvin Sykes. He is the inspiration of the same name.

Gideon Pesaresi, to be portrayed by an actor who born in 1996 - a blond-haired man with an italian accent who is the co-owner of the luxurious mansion. He is loosely based on Mr. Sowerberry.

Christine Winston, to be portrayed by Anya Taylor-Joy - a blond-haired wife of Gideon Pesaresi who is also the co-owner of the luxurious mansion. She is loosely based on Mrs. Sowerberry.

George John, to be portrayed by an actor who born in 1994 - a blond-haired man who is the male servant of Gideon Pesaresi and his wife Christine Winston in the luxurious mansion. He is loosely based on Noah Claypole and the name male counterpart reference of Georgette from Oliver and Company.

Porsha Heather, to be portrayed by Halsey - a blond-haired wife of George John who is the female servant of Gideon Pesaresi and his wife Christine Winston in the luxurious mansion. She is loosely based on Charlotte, her known personality inspiration of Georgette from Oliver and Company and her famous singing and name character inspiration of Porsha Crystal from Sing 2.

Video Camera Boy, to be portrayed by an 11-14 years old actor - a boy who secretly record and monitor at Oliver Brown in the streets of New York before showing the video to Gideon Pesaresi and his wife Christine Winston for the result before making their servants George John and his wife Porsha Heather more jealous at Oliver Brown.

Butler James, to be portrayed by Aaron Pierre, a butler who is one of main owners of the luxurious mansion. The name character might be based on James Earl Jones who played as Mufasa from The Lion King (in both 1994 original work and 2019 modern revival) and King Jaffe Joffer from Coming to America and it's sequel Coming 2 America.

Maid Alfre, to be portrayed by an actress who born in 1994, a maid who is the wife of Butler James. The name character might be based on Alfre Woodard who played as Sarabi from the 2019 modern revival of The Lion King.

Butler Charles, to be portrayed by Kevin Afghani, a butler who is one of the main owners of the luxurious mansion. The name character might be based on Charles Martinet who played as Mario from Super Mario franchise and Giuseppe and the Father of Mario and Luigi from The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Maid Sonya, to be portrayed by an actress who born in 1996, a maid who is the wife of Butler Charles. The name character might be based on Jessica Sonya DiCicco who played as the Mother of Mario and Luigi from The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

A character based on Mr. Brownlow, a man who can adopt Oliver Brown in the luxurious mansion for having his wedding plan to marry his wife coming at the end of the film's story.

Damsel-in-distress character, an unmarried woman who is the love interest of a character based on Mr. Brownlow. She might get married soon in the end of the film's story.
